Wow Paul... I'm more famous than I thought!  Can't believe someone would spend so much time spreading a rumor like that about me! ... :|  Well... I guess it wouldn't be the first time!

I'm sorry about the confusion... those that know me know that I would never do anything scandalous or cruel... especially if it hurts another model!  I spend so much time trying to help & encourage people to follow their dreams!

Seems like someone's trying to stop me from winning already!  LOL :P

I still plan to take part in the show... even more so now that someone is trying to stop me!  See you there!

Vitelle,

I am one of the casting directors casting models and photographers for Elite Events of Atlanta (Fashion Fight Night) reality show taping.

It has come to my attention that you have spread rumors out about the registration fee required for models and photographers as a ripoff.  The producer's agent is not too happy with this rumor going around.

I have been in photography many years, and you can google my name, and you would find my reputation all over the internet.  Before I decided to join the production staff for the casting, I checked the background of the producer Larry B. Scott, Vision Master Studio, and Vivica Fox, to see the the people behind the scene are real.  Did you checkout all the people in the background before you spread the rumor?

What we are dealing here is not any local organization, but Hollywood actor, Larry B. Scott, and Hollywood actress, Vivica Fox.  To call their production casting a RIPOFF without any merit or knowledge of the project, could be subject to lawsuit for libel.

Let me give you a short history about this production:

American Next Top Model charges people just for CASTING, whether selected or not. They call that administration fee. Nobody complains about it, even though not chosen for the casting.

This reality show trailer requires models and photographer to pay registration fee only if they are selected, not just anyone can pay. Once selected, they are guaranteed to be part of the taping, in what role, I don't know yet. Models may not necessarily be selected as the competition models. The could be used as runway models, spikesmidel, ringside model, card model, or models interviewing celebrities in the final event at Evander Holyfield's mansion. The registration fee includes all that.

It takes money to do a pre-production, and the network wants to see something tangible before they fund for the final production. So who is going to fund for the organization of this pre-pilot project with 15 video teams taping 100 models, 20+ photographers for the first round of photo shoot and many other activities involved with the production.

It is only the Final Event at Evander's mansion when sponsor are willing to donate money to come for the charity event for 1000+ guests and celebrities (individual tickets alone costs mote that ($200 each).

Just like a fashion show, where is the money coming from to fund a project. Who pays for location rental, production, etc.

For a model to pay $100 registration to be part of a reality show taping, photo shoot with all makeup and hair done, and ticket to Final Event at Evander Holyfield's charity event. Plus an opportunity to have the exposure and possibility of being discovered by executives and celebrities in the industry. I think $100 is reasonable.

To spread rumors, you are hurting other potential model's chance of being selected, and therefore missing a possible once a life chance of national exposure.

If you feel that this is not for you, you don't have to be part the project, nothing wrong with that.  But let other models have a chance and make their own decision about this reality show.

You can call Larry B. Scott's direct line and ask him in person about this reality show at (323) 273-9756.  Remember that Hollywood is 3 hours behind us.

Regards,

Paul Hu

You came to the "Ebony Knight" casting call Sat 25th. You didn't give us your email or a phone number we can reach you. Please get back at  me with your information. Once again, thank you for coming out. Oh! impressive move wearing my superman symbol.

One more thing, just wanted to say after reading a comment below. You best keep "GOD" first and keep giving him credit for your success. It's not wrong how you are presenting yourself. You are marketing yourself and only you can do that, like any other company." Midnight Mirage Studio" and my name "Darnell Steel" is branded across the board. Just about every actors, models, producers and directors in Atlanta have worked, heard or know about me. Even in LA and other states they are aware on "The Man Of Steel". That's my other name in town. "Superman".

Vitelle, I'm also impressed to hear you speak about the drive and the passion for it all. VERY IMPORTANT! You must have those things within you, to excel in this entertainment business. This is something I've spoken about many times to others. I don't sleep much if any. Day and night I'm working the business. Wearing many hats and not missing a beat. So keep talking about yourself in a humble way of course. People will still be people, no matter what you do. Like you Ms.Webb, I'm put on earth to display my supertalents. Also to help inspire others to go after their dreams too. It is a hard road you are  traveling Ms.Webb. But it will pay off in a minute. Keep inspiring, keep being hungry. Even if you made it to having $millions in the bank. Keep being hungry. Well, I've made my mark and look forward with working with you Vitelle.

Vitelle,

I've said it before on your blog, I admire what you are doing.  I don't know about you and your bills because personally, that is YOUR business.  I do see that you look happy and are on the journey to greatness!  Sometimes large mountains are put in front of you and you wonder whether to go around it or over it.  I say go through it.  You have to go through some things to get to your final destination.  Keep up the good work!   NO RISK, NO REWARD!

Kelly... people who don't have this hunger don't understand it... actually they usually fear it.  That's why they work so hard to try to bring people like me down.  I'm sorry you don't understand but God didn't put this hunger in everyone.  He never puts more on a person than they can bear and he knows his children and who can be responsible for such a gift.

I don't know where you see me going on about myself all the time... This is my website (duh) and I'm the product... but I'm merely a vessel for what God has in store... therefore I cannot talk about myself without referring to God or inspiring others.  I live to inspire others and I would not live if it weren't for God.  Make sense?

This is why I say people shouldn't speak on something when they have no idea what they are talking about.  I've been acting, singing, and dancing in church since I could talk... and I go for a hike EVERY morning... just me and God!  That's how I start my day and ask him to order my steps to do his will!   There's not a thing self centered about me... except that I know if I'm to make a change it must start with me!   Like Mike says... start with the man in the mirror!

As far as the "Vitelle products"... every business must start somewhere.  With just a few donations I was able to buy photo paper and ink and then give my autographed photos in return for donations.  From there I'll be able to purchase products that my fans would like and keep growing.  That's how businesses start.  You must not have known that.

I'm sorry you don't believe in much.  It breaks my heart that so many people stay where they are because they don't believe they can go any further.  Just another one of my purposes... so this was very inspiring.  The only thing I can tell you Kelly, is to watch and see.  When I win that Academy award... I'll give you a shout out... and all the other unbelievers.  You'll see.  wink

Reply kelly
05:44 AM on July 14, 2009

I don't understand how going on about your self, all the time, is "inspiring" others. It's more like. . . "pay me more attention, that's what I want." And why  consistanly bring God into it? If God's higher calling is for you to act, you'd be doing it in church, or instructing at a community center. Maybe it would just be safer to refer to your faith, and leave God out of it. God doesn't create such self centered creatures, go for a hike some time, you see what I mean.

How can you afford to try and sell "Vitelle" products, when you are struggling to pay your bills? Must be using a virtual store front w/ stock products or something. It doesn't make much sense.

Despite anything I've written, I do wish you luck. If you have nothing else, you seem to at least have determination. wink

It cracks me up that you think you are so "Big" and "Famous". Doing extra work in a Tyler Perry does not make you a star. You need a serious reality check.

It really cracks me up that there are so many ignorant people out there that leave stupid comments on peoples pages that they don't even know, only to be proven wrong and make fools of themselves.  But it doesn't bother me... it only increases my ratings!  If you even bothered to do your research, idiot, you would see that I've been working for over ten years and just recently moved to a state that would help me grow as rapidly as my potential.  Since I've been here (just 5 months)  Tyler Perry's film is only ONE of the many great projects I've had the opportunity to work on and I am greatful for that.  The fact that I spend so much time inpspiring others that they can follow their dreams as well, yet you come through to put me down... Well... it just reminds me what I'm here for!  Just remember when I give my acadamy award speech... I'm talking to you!  big grin
